Why do I need a trainer, anyway?
You don’t. If you put in the work, you can reach your goals by yourself. But having a trainer can make the process faster and easier. Of course, you still have to do the work yourself, but you have built-in accountability, expert advice, reduced cognitive load (in other words, you don’t have to figure out what to do; I do that for you!), and help with form.
Why would I want you to be my trainer?
You might not. Different trainers have different styles and areas of expertise. I happen to have a lot of qualifications, but if my personality drives you insane, I’m probably not the right trainer for you. This is why my initial session is free. You get to see what it is like to work with me without having to make an investment beyond up to 90 minutes of your time.
How long until I see results?
Depends on what you mean by results. Most people make significant progress in cardio fitness and strength in about a month or six weeks.
What’s the fastest way to lose ten pounds?
No idea. I only pay attention to the good ways to lose weight, if that is your goal. That means a balance of weight training and cardio exercise, good nutrition, enough rest, and probably some stress reduction.
Can’t I get workouts for free on the internet?
Sure. But does that workout suit your body? Is it safe for you? Are you using the right amount of weight for your goals? Will you stick to it? My job is to tailor workouts to your needs and your body. I also work to make the work as much fun as it can be while still getting the job done.
